When we’d last left off, I’d just done Bob Harper’s Cardio Conditioning DVD. Well, that led to me not being able to walk without feeling like someone was plucking my hamstrings like a harp for three days. I’d have toughed it out on the third day, but I ended up falling ill. Friday I read Sarah’s Key in its entirety instead of running, and Saturday I spent three hours cleaning. So, my grand plans for higher mileage were foiled. But hey, that’s real life, folks.

Wednesday: 3.29-mile run in the morning + Jillian Michaels 6-Week 6-Pack Level 1 in the afternoon
Thursday: 5.13-mile run + 50 reverse-incline push-ups

Saturday: 3 hours heavy cleaning (SparkPeople says I burned 800 calories, so I’m counting it as exercise.)
Total Run Mileage: 8.42
Total Push-ups: 50
It was stupid hot this week, so I didn’t get in as much mileage as I’d have liked. But this week it’s all 70s all week long, so I’m hoping for some pretty glorious evening runs.
